When King Taejong of Joseon (of Korean) fell off the horse, he asked his court historian to leave this unfortunate event out of the record. The historian...did not comply. Korean historians were known to keep every little detail in their records. As a result, we now know some of the most embarassing stories about Korean kings - Taejong being one of them.
