There are currently millions of memes related to human history that circulate the wide web. We have rolled our sleeves up and built a source where these great pieces of art are organised by country, topic, historical figure mentioned and more, and so they are easier to navigate.
Another reason why we decided to launch historyinmeme.com is because we strongly believe in George Santayana’s quote, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”. What better way to learn history than while also having a laugh in the process?
Today it seems that with the spread of misinformation and countries becoming increasingly hostile towards each other, we are far away from having the factual base on which we could build a better world together. However, we can change that, together.
We realise that this project cannot exist without the community that nourishes it. Wikipedia cannot function without people submitting new articles. Uber cannot work without its drivers. Which is why we encourage YOU to become a part of our growing force and let THE WORLD TREMBLE AND LAUGH.
