Dr. Katherine Hall argued in 2018 that Alexander the Great’s body may not have started decomposing immediately after his death because he may have STILL BEEN ALIVE. What a horrifying discovery. "Hall argues that GBS, a rare but serious autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks healthy cells in the nervous system, can explain this combination of symptoms better than the other theories advanced for Alexander’s death. She believes he may have contracted the disorder from an infection of Campylobacter pylori, a common bacterium at the time.
